Why Choose Us

A Calling
Born from Purpose

Blaine Turner didn't take a conventional path into dentistry. After more than a decade working cattle ranches in Eastern Oregon, he made the rare decision at age 40 โ€” with a wife and four sons โ€” to return to school. He earned his Biology degree from Eastern Oregon University and completed his Denturist training at Bates Technical College.

Since 2012, he has practiced his craft with the conviction that restoring a smile restores something much deeper: dignity, confidence, and quality of life.

"I will do for you, the patient, what I would want done for my own family." โ€” Blaine Turner, Licensed Denturist

The Five-Step Process

From Impression to Perfection

Every set of custom dentures takes approximately 16 hours of in-house lab work across five appointments. Here is what your journey looks like.

01

Initial Impressions

Alginate molds of your upper and lower ridges create the foundation. Custom-fit trays are fabricated in our lab (~15 min in-office, ~30 min lab).

02

Final Impressions

Using precision materials and your custom trays, final impressions capture every detail of your tissue for an accurate, comfortable fit (~15 min in-office).

03

Bite Registration & Shade Selection

Blaine maps your natural plane of occlusion and you select your tooth shade โ€” ensuring both functional accuracy and aesthetic beauty (~45 min).

04

Wax Try-In Preview

See your new smile before it's finalized. You approve the color, shape, and position of every tooth before we move to the final step (~10 min).

05

Delivery & Follow-Up

Your finished dentures are placed and adjusted until the fit is perfect. We provide education on care and follow-up support for 90 days to ensure your complete satisfaction.

Partial Solutions

Complete Your
Smile Seamlessly

A missing tooth does more damage than most people realize. Beyond the gap in your smile, it shifts surrounding teeth, accelerates bone loss in the jaw, and can make everyday tasks like chewing and speaking unexpectedly difficult.

Our custom partial dentures restore function and appearance simultaneously โ€” each one crafted to blend naturally with your existing teeth. We offer metal frame partials, flexible partial dentures, and dental flippers, tailored to your specific needs.

  • Replaces one or multiple teeth
  • Preserves jaw bone structure
  • Improves chewing and speech
  • Restores facial symmetry
  • Metal frame or flexible options
  • Dental flipper available

Reline & Repair Services

A Perfect Fit
Restored Today

Over time, the shape of your jaw changes โ€” it's a natural consequence of aging and the absence of tooth roots. As this happens, dentures that once fit perfectly can begin to loosen, rub, and cause discomfort. Left unaddressed, a poor-fitting denture accelerates the very bone loss it was designed to slow.

We offer hard and soft relines tailored to your situation, as well as comprehensive repair services for damaged dentures. In most cases, we can complete a reline the same day.

Signs you may be overdue for a reline:

  • Dentures shift or slip when eating
  • Sore, inflamed gum tissue
  • Cracked or chipped denture
  • Difficulty chewing comfortably
  • Changes in facial shape
  • Persistent odor despite regular cleaning
โš  Please Avoid Super Glue

Household adhesives chemically damage denture acrylic and prevent repair material from bonding โ€” turning a simple repair into a complicated one. Please bring your broken denture to us promptly. We can often fix it the same day.

Same-Day Reline

Jodi is often the first voice patients hear and the first face they see โ€” and she considers it a privilege. As office manager, she oversees every aspect of the patient experience from first contact through follow-up, ensuring that each visit runs smoothly and that every person feels genuinely valued.

Her ability to navigate insurance questions, scheduling complexities, and the quiet anxiety that often accompanies a first dental visit is matched only by her warmth. She is the reason people often describe their experience at Turner Denture Clinic as surprisingly comfortable.

"My goal is that each person who walks through our door feels valued and knows that we truly care."

Why are dentures or partials so important? โ–พ
Missing teeth initiate a cycle of progressive damage: bone loss accelerates without the stimulation of tooth roots, remaining teeth shift and tip, facial structure changes, and chewing becomes increasingly difficult. Dentures and partials interrupt that cycle โ€” restoring function, structure, and appearance. In many cases, patients find they look visibly younger after a well-fitted denture, because the underlying facial support is restored.
What should I expect at my first appointment? โ–พ
Your first visit is a consultation โ€” an unhurried conversation about your situation, your goals, and your options. Please bring your photo ID, insurance card, and a list of any current medications. If you've been referred by a dentist, bring that referral โ€” Blaine values working collaboratively with dental teams. If you currently wear dentures, please avoid adhesive on the day of your appointment, as it makes proper evaluation more difficult. No referral is required to be seen.
How long does the full process take? โ–พ
Typically five appointments over several weeks. Each step is carefully executed: initial impressions, final impressions, bite registration with shade selection, a wax try-in where you preview your smile and give approval, and finally delivery. Your custom dentures involve approximately 16 hours of skilled lab craftsmanship. After delivery, we provide 90 days of follow-up support included in your care.
How do I adjust to wearing dentures for the first time? โ–พ
Patience and consistency are the most important factors. Consider dentures like any other prosthetic โ€” adjustment takes practice. Begin with softer foods, take smaller bites, and wear them consistently throughout the day to accelerate the learning curve. Some patients adapt within weeks; others take up to six months to feel entirely natural. We will support you throughout, and are always available to make adjustments.
How should I care for my dentures? โ–พ
Remove them each night โ€” your gum tissue needs oxygen and rest, and overnight removal significantly extends the life of your dentures. Clean daily with a soft brush and plain water; avoid toothpaste, as its abrasive particles create microscopic scratches where bacteria proliferate. Store overnight in water to prevent the acrylic from becoming brittle. Use a denture cleaner such as Efferdent or Polident at least weekly to manage bacterial growth. Keep them away from pets โ€” animals are unusually attracted to the scent.
My denture broke. Can you repair it? โ–พ
Yes โ€” and please resist the temptation to use super glue or any household adhesive first. The chemicals in these products damage the acrylic and prevent repair material from properly bonding, significantly complicating what might otherwise be a straightforward fix. Bring it to us as soon as possible. In most cases, we can complete the repair the same day.
Do you accept Medicaid? โ–พ
Yes, and we are proud to do so. Every patient who comes to Turner Denture Clinic receives the same level of craftsmanship, attention, and respect โ€” regardless of insurance type or coverage. Please call us to discuss the specifics of your coverage and how it applies to the services you need.
